I pray that you can see that I have no special gift, other then wanting to warn as many as I can before the Lord calls me home. Those who cross our paths every day need to hear that the God of the Universe will punish those who are not adopted in to the Kingdom of Heaven... so their destiny is HELL! Cactus Christain Fellowship Tuesday Night 4-24-13

Last night I had the privilege of teaching the middle age school children at Cactus Christian Fellowship on 2401 E. Cactus in Phoenix. They meet every Tuesday night for a study from 6:30 -8pm with the Worship Pastor Nathan Umbanhower.

 This Church recognizes the need to reach out to the lost. They are not only concerned about bringing them in, as many Churches do, they realize that those who cross our paths may not be able  to come our Church because of there location, but while they are in front of you,  you have the opportunity to share the truth with them. Remember this is not about you or about them coming to your Church, it’s about their Eternal Destiny.   

 It’s truly a blessing from the Lord that He would open the door to allow me to share what I have learned over the last 7 years on how to open a conversation with those who cross our paths on a daily basis. Example when your eating out, grocery shopping, buying gas, getting stuff for your house, the appointment at the Doctor or Dental office, in other words anywhere.

Here’s one for you that Catherine shared with them last night on how she shares the Gospel with telemarketers…how many of you do that?  Would you like to learn?

 I will be teaching this Biblical principle for the next 3 weeks. It will be exciting to hear back from these youngsters on how they were able to speak to strangers in our community. You don’t have to knock on doors to reach the lost, just do as Jesus did speak to them when you see them in public. Remember He asked us to follow Him NOT do our own thing. Then He said to them, "Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men." (Mat 4:19)

Saturday Night on Mill Ave in Tempe AZ

This was another Glorious night for our Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ!  Those who claim Christ as Lord left the comfort of their homes like He did, to reach out to the lost. AL, Alan, Daniel, Marcus and Ronnie, came out to the streets of Tempe to hand out 100's of Gospel Tracts to hundreds who walk up and down Mill Ave all night looking for who knows what.

As you can see in the picture that Al took, many will stop by to get a free Glow-Stick as they think they can pass the Good Person Test. Most men will proclaim each his own goodness, (Pro 20:6 NKJV)

If you can see I'm actually laughing as most of the times those who stop tend to make it an enjoyable evening. The man with his back to you is taking the test. But you can see how the others are listening. That's the point! I pray that you see that. It's not just talking to one person about what they need to do to be saved; it's talking to several people at one time. What a blessing to be able to do as He did,  by drawing a crowd to hear this life saving eternal message.
 
The man on your left had claimed to be a “Christian”. You can see him pointing his finger at me and shouting at me to say: "That I needed to tell them, that Jesus was re-incarnated like all of us will be. (YUK)
This is where you need to be careful, as to whom you identify yourself with, as the Lord Himself stated in (Mat. 7:23) and then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!'
 
The others on the right came a little latter to hear what was going on. So the crowd doesn't happen all at once, sometimes it does, but just being elevated and speaking to those in front of you draws interest from others who are walking by.
 
I pray that those who are reading this and have been through one of the many seminars over the last (7) years, consider doing the Lord's work and come again to the street, even if just once a month. Jesus told His disciples in (Luke 10:2) Therefore, " The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few: pray to the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth laborers into his harvest.
 
This man in front of me when asked if he had every lied, stolen, or lusted, stated that he was Muslim and those laws are black and white and there could be a lot of gray area's to consider before they are answered. That's when he said, “this sounds like a lot of the religious people who want to make there own rules”
 
 I then explained to him that he was now breaking the 2nd of the Ten Commandments as we are not to have any idols. Mankind has done that from the beginning. They create a god that agrees with them so that whatever they do is okay with that god, but the True God, the Righteous God and the Just God must punish the liars, thieves, fornicator’s idolaters as His Wrath is upon those who do. (John 3:18)
 
 Here's the verse that states it, check it out for yourself, I didn’t make it up.  (1Co 6:9-10) Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortionist will inherit the kingdom of God.
 
Another one of the encounters last night was with Marcus and I as a young man took one of my Cell Phone Texting tracts, and wanted to know why we were handing them out.

I explained that we were here to help others understand what there final destination could possible be, and how they were going to be judged.
 
That’s when he stated he grew up in a Pentecostal church, and knew Jesus! That's when I asked, "oh so you inherited the Kingdom of god, just as a prince would inherit the throne?" He agreed.
 
We could tell he had plenty to drink. He told us that right now he was NOT being obedient to God, but if God wanted him to change then God would make it happen. Marcus challenged him with if he knew that he would die tomorrow would he right now repent and place his trust in Jesus Christ alone for the forgiveness of his sins?
 
He got very serious at that point and you could see his conscience working on him as he tilted his head back rolling his eyes as if looking for an apt answer, and finally stated, “That he would not!  He was not ready to give up having fun with his friends and the girls he's been involved with.
 
I then gave him the verse that came to me and that he was to stop blaming God as he now knows s the truth and is rejecting it.
“For the sorrow that is according to the will of God produces repentance without regret, leading to salvation, but the sorrow of the world produces death.” 2Co 7:10
 
Here is a few of the several verses that Jesus Himself states that you may want to read about Repentance:

Luk_5:32
"I have not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance."
Luk_15:7
"I tell you that in the same way, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance.
Luk_24:47
And that repentance for forgiveness of sins would be proclaimed in His name to all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem.
 
I then explained what is stated in (Eph 2:8-9)
 “For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.”
 
Now he started to walk away telling us he had to catch up with his friends and thanked us for taking the time to explain to him why we were there.

As he was leaving I gave another one of our Gospel Tracts, which he took, “Are You Good Enough To Go to Heaven”

Way of the Master Workshop

WOW! What can I say about this workshop except the Lord definitely had His hand in it.

First I want to thank all the sowers who come out again, again and again to help me with this teaching and their desire to share what this teaching has done for them to the first timers.

Al, who has been with me almost since I started, has been a blessing to me as he continually attends and supports me in any way that I need.

Alan who has been with me since the beginning back in 2004 has the keys to open & close & cleanup Redemption Church so we can have the seminar.

Daniel has been with us for a few years and he too stated that he attends each seminar to get more out of it...he wasn't feeling well and still came.

Keith who has been with us less than a year has already done the most scariest thing in life...stand up on a box on a public corner and reach out to draw a crowd so he can asked them, "Would you consider yourself to be a GOOD person". How would you respond?

Then along came Tony who just several months ago heard about the seminar and has attended the last (3). He stated that the reason he wants to keep coming is that he hears things that he didn't get the first time, it’s like getting another golden nugget.

The first timers were Dean, Jennifer, Joshua, Nathan, Patrick and Sam. God gets all the Glory for placing the desire in the hearts of ALL who were there, as they gave up one of their most precious assets, "TIME."

They humbled themselves to learn another way to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ not just friends, family and co-workers, but with strangers. But isn't that what the Lord Commands all who claim Him as Lord to do? Mark 16:15, Luke 10:2, Acts 1:8 to name a few.

One who came was a Worship Pastor. How exciting to have a Pastor attend this seminar. Click on the link to go to my web page to read what a Pastor said who attended the seminar in Jan. The Pastor wrote

Half of the new sowers came out to the streets with us afterwards. What a joy to watch as they prayed with us for us and for others to be saved and even handed out tracts.

I was standing next to Sam as he was handing out tracks and he stated, "It's amazing how polite they are when I offer them the million dollar bill, as they either say, “No thanks when they didn't take it or, "Thank you when they did!" Later in the night, not only did he ask did you get one of these, to a young man who then  asked what was it, he told the young man, “It asks the million Dollar question, "Would you consider yourself to be a good person? " and wound up exchanging the truth as this man had made up his own god and basically it was him. SAD.

It was awesome to see Joshua the teenager amongst us with his dad Dean, also be on fire as they offered these Gospel Tracts to everyone who passed by. Joshua had the biggest smile all night as he definitely enjoyed giving out the Word of God.

Dean admitted about himself, as we all have, having the fear of approaching someone he didn't know and was thankful to see how these perfect strangers didn’t react when he approached them as he thought they would. Most were courteous and respectful...not what he had imagined. So I guess the acronym:

F...alse

E...expectations

A ....appearing

R...eal 

is true.

We make up our own fears without testing them to see if they are true. maybe that's why Paul stated in Phi. 4:13, I can do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens me. He is helping us to realize what we think is difficult He gives us the confidence to do it anyway, even hand out Gospel tracts!

So I pray that wehn you're invited to the next one Saturday May 25th that you asked the Lord to give you the desire that these people found and come.

As Charles Spurgeon has stated: "If you have no desire for others to be saved, then your not saved yourself, you can be sure of that!"

DIVINE APPOINTMENT

TO THE LOST BY THE LORD!!!

 This is something I pray, NO I implore, NO I beg you to read! This is not about me. It's to show how anyone even me, can learn how to reacah out to the lost.

 Even at McDonald’s we have the opportunity with the right tools to reach out to the lost.

Catherine & I stopped in for an ice cream cone this afternoon. As were sitting in the booth eating, a little girl came over to me. She was about 7 years old. She quietly started to speak to me and those of you who know me know I have a hearing problem. I asked if she could speak louder and that’s when she told me her father sent her over to me to tell me to be careful that I had money falling out of my back pocket. I asked her where her father was and she turned and pointed to the other side of the store. My first thought was why would a father of a seven year old send his daughter to talk to a perfect stranger?

So, as I always do, I thanked her for letting me know about it  and gave her the Million dollar tract which I told her to take to her father and ask him to come to talk to me as I wanted to thank him as well.

He came over with her and I thanked him for letting me know about the money. I handed him another Million dollar tract and he never said a word. I didn’t think he spoke English. Then I showed the little girl a silver coin that appeared out from the edge of the silver chair that I was sitting on.  You should have seen the look on her face! I handed her the coin and explained what it was. “It’s a commemorative coin with God’s Ten Commandments on one side and the Gospel of Jesus Christ on the other”. She reached up for it and I told her to have her father or someone else read it to her.

As I went back to my seat I noticed 3 teens across the way staring at me and I assumed they had watched what I had just done with the coin. I approached them and asked what they thought of what they saw, as they all had big smiles and nodded their heads. That’s when I did it again using the edge of a silver chair next to them. Again their mouths dropped and they extended their hands to receive it. I told them the same as I told the little girl but asked them if they knew them? They looked at each other and shook their heads, NO! I then told them how sad that was, as one day we will be judged by those Commandment’s, and how very few know what they are.

 I gave them the example of someone speeding down Glendale Ave at 70 miles an hour. If a cop saw that he would pull the person over and ask, “Do you know why I stopped you?” That person would respond, “NO!” as they thought they were in perfect control of their car. That’s when they would be informed that they were breaking the law by speeding. That’s when I asked the teens would that person get a ticket even though they didn’t know they were breaking the law? They all said, ”YES” and that’s when I reminded them that’s what’s going to happen to most of us who are ignorant of God’s Ten Commandments. Not knowing them would not be an excuse to be let go. I then handed each one of them a Million dollar tract and asked if they would read the back, as it has the Million dollar question, “Are you good enough to get into Heaven?” They smiled and said yes they would.

 I started to walk back to my table when another little girl again about 7 come up to me this time with 2 other little boys and bravely asked me if I would do the magic for her. I asked her who told her I did that and she pointed to the room that has the kids playground and stated her mother.

 Again I had the Ten Commandment coin appear from out the sliver side of a chair and again got the same reaction from all 3 of them. They each got a coin and that’s when I walked over to the mother and told her that the next time she should stay with her child if she wanted her to get something from a stranger and gave her a Million Dollar Gospel tract and stated she might consider reading the back as it’s going to ask her the Million Dollar question.

 I’ve been told by many who claim Christ as Lord that they speak to others when others see their light shine. Well this afternoon it’s must have been a flaming fireball. The draw to me was MONEY and the coin appearance.

That’s what this world loves!

 The illusion is again just another means of getting their attention as they also love the unexpected. These people notice money and care enough to want to help others not to lose it, so they approach me with a compassion to help…would you? 

 

My reason for sharing this story is not about me, it’s about how we can reach all those who cross our paths on a daily basis. Can you image the revival we could have if the majority of those who cherish our Lord put into practice handing out this message?

 

Simply, Effectively, Biblically

 

As the Lord tells ALL of us that the harvest is plenty but the laborers are few. So pray to the Lord to send out more laborers. (Luke 10:2)

 

Would you like to become one of His laborers?

 

Please pray, fervently pray, that you see and desire to imitate the benefit of carrying with you this glorious blessing from the Lord…Million Dollar Gospel Tracts! And yes to even learn how to make a sliver coin with the Ten Commandments on one side and the Salvation message of Jesus Christ on the other appear out of silver things.

LIke a Double Header

What can I say that I haven’t said before! This 1st Friday of Feb. & Saturday night was  like being at a double header baseball game.  On Friday night, the lost came in droves! I‘m thankful for Keith and his young daughter Cate and Tony and his wife Lorna who come out to also reach out to the lost.
 
I set up the sign that asks if they can prove that they are a “Good Person?” If they can they get a free glow-stick. It’s amazing how many think they are, and even the Scripture states in Proverbs 26:6,” Most men will proclaim every one his own goodness:”
 
By using a  microphone I now step up on a step stool and  bring out the glow-sticks, and ask who would like one, it amazes me how many come forward at once to get one.
 
For probably at least an hour I’m able to speak to a multitude of people! 
 
It’s like being in a small river and watching the salmon swim up it! Not only are those who come close to me to take the test hear the message, but many are watching, sometimes 20-30 hear why the Lord Jesus Christ came to planet Earth, not to bring a better or happier lifestyle, but for those who have violated God’s Holy Law, by breaking the Ten Commandments!
 
Buy asking them just four simple questions;
1.Ever lied
2.Stolen
3.Sworn
4.Looked with lust?
 

All say they have, but when asked if they would be innocent or guilty the majority say,  INNOCENT! What would you say?

 
Well I was getting tired and thankfully Keith was there, and he took over. What a blessing it was to watch Keith continue with the same questions and also draw a large crowd.
Now as they listen to what is being said, they now hear a clear picture, by the Grace of God, the very reason Jesus came...he came for sinners.( Matt. 9:13)

 On Saturday night I did the same setup and had many hear a message that they probably  never heard before.
 
Al brought his illusion picture frame of what looks like Albert Einstein, to gain the attention of those who walk passed it, as it seem like he’s alive as the eyes follow you.
 
Dan now has a sign that shows an optical illusion. Two pieces of paper one red one blue that look different, but when he places one on top of the other they look the same. They do all this just to capture the attention of those who walk by.
 
Alan, Mike and Marcus also were there given out lots of Million Dollar Gospel Tracts. Those who take them and there are many, can now read & hear that their proclamation on how they attend church regularly, or have accepted or believe in Jesus isn't what God requires, as even the Demons believe in Jesus and they shudder! James 2:19
 
This is when those who claim to be Christians need to understand the 2nd of the Ten Commandments.
 

You shall not make for yourself any graven images!

 

In other words don't create a God in your own mind that whatever you do is okay with that God. The one you create is tolerant of everything you do and so would never punish you, but the real God, the Just and Righteous God must punish the Law breakers. Read 1Cor. 6:9-10

So help me out here:

 
Shouldn't we be bringing the truth to the streets?
Can you see the possibility, that we could reach more of those who are held captive by Satan where they are hanging out, then by trying to bring one or two to church?
 
The Lord Himself stated, in Mark 16:15, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation, and then again in Acts 1:8,” but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses, both in Jerusalem, (Phoenix) and in all Judea (Tempe) and Samaria, (Scottsdale) and even to the remotest part of the earth."( A little humor with the the towns in the parentheses)
 
He commands us to GO reach out to the lost,not stay at the Temple! Why not come out on the next 1st Friday night and be the one who answers His prayer.  Luke 10:2 "The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore beseech the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.
 
Experience the joy of knowing that you are being an obedient servant for the Lord.

Saturday Night Live 11/10/2012

This was another Glorious night for our Our Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ.! Those who claim Christ as Lord left the comfort of their homes, like He did, and came out to the streets of Tempe where there are hundreds who walk up and down Mill Ave all night looking for who knows what...

The Lord must have been pleased to watch as those who regularly come are now being joined by some new sowers, Tony and his wife Lorna.

While I was up on the large flower pot that stands on the corner of 5th and Milll, offering to give away free Glow-sticks to anyone who can pass the Good Person Test, a young man holding a Million Dollar Gospel Tract in his hand stopped in front of me and asked for one. Seeing the tract in his hand told me that he probably spoke to one of the other sowers., Al, Alan, Dan, Keith, Marcus, or Mike. Mike even brought his young son who is eleven, with him. I guess Mike believes in what the Bible says in : Pro 22:6 “Train up a child in the way he should go, Even when he is old he will not depart from it.“

So back to this young man as I told him in order to receive the free Glow-stick he had to prove to me he was a good person. With that he immediately stated that he had broken all the commandments, so give me a glow-stick! That’s when I stated that in his own admission he didn’t deserve one as anyone who is rebellious and violates God’s Ten Commandments couldn’t be considered to be a good person.

That’s when he does, as most do, state their standard of what they believe. He stated that he was a Muslim, Hindu, and Christian and reads the Bible everyday and knows it backward and forwards. That one I’d never heard before so I replied he couldn't be a Christian, which means,”One who follows Jesus Christ “, and at the same time admitting believing in the other religions.

Now he becomes even more prideful and tells me that he has a 4.0 average at ASU, and teaches others and also is a professional dancer???? That’s when I asked him if he think that because of the blessing’s that the Lord has given him, that God would allow him to enter Heaven?

Now comes the amazing part of this man’s reaction to hearing the Law of the Lord. He stepped back took off his shoes and his hat, it was very cold that night, and got on his knees and started bowing up and down. Well since I have never...never had anyone bow before me I shouted to the other sowers, "Look I have a Muslim bowing down to me!!! " When he heard that he immediately stood up and angrily stated that he was not bowing down to me but to Mecca and he was offended by my comment. WIth that I looked at him and asked, "How could you be offended when that was exactly what you did. If you were really bowing to Mecca why didn’t you move over, left or right of me, so that you could face it without me in front of you, and as I’ve seen those on the news who are bowing to Mecca, they place a rug on the ground which you didn’t do".

Now he was quiet, just staring at me, that’s when I seized the opportunity to tell him about the provision that God had created. It was the love of God that He has for us that He sent Jesus Christ to pay the fine for the crimes that he and I committed. Jesus being the perfect sacrifice on the Cross. The Romans crucified the worst of the worst and yet Jesus, who was perfect in all areas went willingly, as an obedient servant at the Father’s request.

Our response to that wonderful gift is that we,

Repent, have a Godly Sorrow, 2Co 7:10 “For the sorrow that is according to the will of God produces a repentance without regret, leading to salvation, but the sorrow of the world produces death.”

then place our faith and trust in Jesus Christ alone for the forgiveness of us violating God’s Laws!

This is when I explained to him, It’s not what we do but it’s what God has already done for us . Because of that I could now offer him a Glow-stick. I explained how this is a poultry example of what Jesus did on that Cross for me and for him. All he had to do was to reach up and take it.

Now I hope you’ve read this far as this part of what happened is the most unusual thing that has ever happened to me!

With both of his hands at his side, him staring at me and me staring at him, he took a deep breath and ever so slightly raised his right hand. Then another deep breath, our eyes still focused on each other, he raised his hand a fraction more. This continued for what seemed like 60 seconds until his hand was now where he could grasp the Glow-stick. Remember, I’m standing on a planter box that is at least 3 feet above the ground. He finally grabbed the stick placed it around his neck put his shoes back on and walked away.

As he was leaving I gave him another Gospel Tract, which he took, “Are You Good Enough To Go to Heaven”
