This site is primarily to help others learn how easy it is to share the Gospel. Jesus used the Ten Commandments in Luke 18:18 when the rich ruler asked what he must do to get into Heaven.
Also by using these innovative and acceptable tracts from "The Way of The Master", by Ray Comfort and Kirk Cameron, you get the opportunity to get the Word of God into the hands of the lost.

Trivia Question - Tempe March 27th 2010

Tonight was a quiet night. The business of the daytime fair seemed to have drained the energy from those who would normally walk the streets at night seeking what they can't seem to find. But the Lord gave me the privilege to share again with a group of several street walkers. Almost as soon as I stood up on my plastic step and offered some money for answers to some trivia questions a crowd of about 10 who had just passed by me backed up and stood in front of me. Proverbs 11:30

Saturday Night on Mill

This was an awesome night as I got calls from Jean, then Kevin and Vivi to see if I was going to Mill to share with the lost. Kevin and Vivi come up from Sierra Vista every two weeks to see family and friends. They attended a seminar I had a couple of months ago and have been on fire ever since. Jean has been to three of them! Her confidence in herself to now talk to strangers is increasing! So I guess if she keeps coming with us on Saturday nights she will be accused of having the gift of Evangelism. Or maybe it's like anything else we do in life, it takes practice to be able to do what your not used to doing. Then and only then after much practice, failed attempts, humbling yourself, you learn how to communicate with those of the human race. No more excuses of not being called to share. The scripture is very clear that if you claim Christ as Lord then act like it, learn how too, even if it makes you feel uncomfortable. Ask Jean, she was very uncomfortable but now she has learned a useful phrase, "I'm a lot further now then I was before."

Al was also there and was very helpful to Jean. At one time Jean told the person shew was talking to that she was a rookie and asked Al to help her with some answers to the man she was speaking to. (Honesty is the best policy) You should see the change in her as she now talks to those she meets on the streets in Tempe where in the beginning she would shyly hand out tracts without saying anything.

I was blessed while doing an Open Air when the person answering my trivial questions and getting the money gave the cash to the young lady he was with. I was surprised at that because those who answer the questions keep the money. I even had another young lady true to take the cash out of my hands. I mentioned to her that would be stealing and did that bother her. She smiled and said not really. I then explained how that action is a violation of God's Law and if she needed the money all she had to do was ask.

Back to the young lady getting the cash from her male friend. When I asked who here could prove to me that they are a good person, to my surprise she raised her hand. I asked her to stand in front of me and that I was going to use God's Ten Commandments to see if it was true. She said with a bubbly attitude, sure go ahead. I asked all of her friends to be her judge, and they all agreed. Her name was Mindy and she admitted to lying, stealing, blasphemy, and adultery in her heart. I asked if she died tonight and had to face God would she be innocent or guilty? She said innocent! I then asked her friends if they agreed and they said no! She'd be guilty.

She then stated that she was told that God was a loving and forgiving God. I used the example of someone breaking man's law and admitted to the charges against him just like she did and did she think the judge would let them go free? She said no, but that's mans law and God is is forgiving. Once more I explained that God was not only loving but also a Just and Righteous God, and because He is He must punish liars, thieves, and fornicators. So based on what she was saying, then all liars, thieves, fornicators, and child rapists are going to be in heaven? Her demeanor started to change as she was now becoming somber. I shared with her 1Cor 6:9-10, to help her understand that this was not from me but from the Word of God

I gave an an example that if she was continually sleeping with her boyfriend knowing that God forbid it then why would he have made the law in the first place, if He wasn't going to punish those who broke it? So looks like Gal. 3:24 does what it says. Sad it's not used more often to those who are not saved. She now admitted to being guilty and then I asked where would God have to send her Heaven or Hell? With her head bowed down she softly said Hell. I asked did that concern her? Still, with her head down, her voice very softly stated, "yes". When I asked her did she know what God did for her so she wouldn't have to go to Hell she said, " no ". I told her that she didn't prove that she was a good person, but I was giving her the money anyway. This was a poultry example of how Christ died for her sins and mine. He paid the price by giving His life, something none of us can do. To receive this free gift, all she had to do was to reach up and accept it.

She still had her head down and shook it from left to right saying she didn't deserve it. I then explained that none of us do but because of what Eph. 2:8-9 says it's a free gift and there's nothing we can do to earn it. She needed to repent, which means turn away from her sinful lifestyle and place her trust in Jesus Christ alone to save her from the Wrath of God. She slowly reached up and took the money and then thanked me.

So please pray for Mindy as she was leaving I gave her the tract "Save Yourself Some Pain", and asked if she would read it when she got home, and she said she would.

Please be praying for all those who give up there own time to come out to try to reach the lost. Prayers are great, but prayers alone are not enough. Remember what Paul stated in Rom. 10:17, about hearing the Word of God.

How wonderful is this verse in Rom. 10:15 which speaks about how beautiful the feet of those who bring the Good News. I pray that that verse encourages you to come out with us to reach the lost.

Best Poem in the world, or Best Lie in the world?

Got this poem from someone who doesn't like using the Ten Commandments for sharing with anyone. States it's judgmental and unloving when we do!

I would really like to have comments posted about this. You can post them at the end of this were it says Post Comments.

Here are some questions about this poem
  1. After reading this poem who would you say would be in Heaven, and why
  2. How would this be helpful to someone who is not saved
  3. If you claim to be a follower of Christ would you send this to everyone in your contact list, and why
  4. What did you get from the section after Judge Not, when it makes a judgement about those who go to church or stand in a garage

BEST POEM IN THE WORLD

I was shocked, confused, bewildered
As I entered Heaven's door,
Not by the beauty of it all,
Nor the lights or its decor.

But it was the folks in Heaven
Who made me sputter and gasp--
The thieves, the liars, the sinners,
The alcoholics and the trash.

There stood the kid from seventh grade
Who swiped my lunch money twice.
Next to him was my old neighbor
Who never said anything nice.

Herb, who I always thought
Was rotting away in hell,
Was sitting pretty on cloud nine,
Looking incredibly well.

I nudged Jesus, 'What's the deal?
I would love to hear Your take.
How'd all these sinners get up here?
God must've made a mistake.

'And why is everyone so quiet,
So somber - give me a clue.'
'Hush, child,' He said, 'they're all in shock.
No one thought they'd be seeing you.'

JUDGE NOT!!

Remember...Just going to church doesn't make you a
Christian any more than standing in your garage makes you a car.

Every saint has a PAST...
Every sinner has a FUTURE!
Now it's your turn... Share this poem.

Friday Night at the Phoenix Art Fair

WOW! Talk about reaching out to save the lost!

Tonight Roosevelt was jammed packed with lost souls. I wish you could only have been here. We had several seed sower’s preaching with microphones, offering money to draw anyone who maybe for the first time would hear the true Gospel. Most who come like trying to answer trivia questions to win some money, you know how the world loves money, so we use it to bring them to us. The final question, "are good enough to get into heaven?"

Just curious is there anyone out there who finds asking that question offensive?

I would really like to know your thoughts and why. Please click on comments at the end.

Some think this is important because almost everyone thinks they are. Proverbs. 20:6 Most men will proclaim every one his own goodness: but a faithful man who can find? So by helping them understand how God sees them, as in Isaiaha 64:6, we are filthy rags, then can then understand why they need a Savoir. You may also check on Luke 18:19 to read what Jesus said about how is good.

The one thing that amazed me was there were several people passing out flyers about the war in Afganistan, would you belive it ...to perfect strangers. I guess they have the gift of Afganistanism. I wondered if they were getting paid to hand them out? Maybe for money people would do something they wouldn't normally do...what do you think, let me know, please.

This principle of using God's Law to show the world how they would appear to a Holy God on Judgement day is a clear and concise message about where they are walking to. They need to be warned that Hell is real and most of them will enter through that gate. Don't take my word, read what Jesus said in Mat.7:13-14, and Luke 13:24. We have to be faithful followers of Jesus Christ and do as he commands us to Go out into ALL the World and share the Gospel.(Mark 16:15)

So how do you reach the lost? Please let me know what you would say to a perfect stranger who may be lost. You only have a few minutes because you know every one is sooo busy!

Please let me know as I would like to expand on my ability to reach those who like me didn't think it was so bad going to Hell.

I found one way, you do what Jesus did you go out to the streets where the lost are. Going to worship is what we are commanded to do, that being the forth one, but to only go to worship, or home fellowships for the rest of your born again life is not being a follower of Christ, that is only part of what Christ told us to do. Wouldn't you want to be a volunteer for the Lord as was quoted in Isa. 6:8, "Send me!" Remember Paul stated: that Faith comes by hearing the Word of God. Sharing with everyone, which means speaking to them is what the Joy of being in the Lord is all about, come try it.

I met Pastor John there last night. I had given a seminar at his Church last year and he came by to see if I was still out sharing. He didn't have any tracts on him so my good friend Alan gave him about 200 of the million dollar gospel tracts, and he went out into the crowd to give them away.

Just a thought could you send me the names of your Pastor who goes out from the church walls to share with the lost. Would love to meet with him and learn how he does it.

Well about an hour later as I stepped down from doing another Open Air, I noticed the Pastor behind me. He had been watching me speak to several teens about being a,” Good Person”. He watched as I was able to share the truth about God's Wrath and Judgment, as well as His Grace to several Satan worshipers, as that's what they called themselves.

They challenged me with a question referencing Muslims who believe in God, God won't send them to Hell. I then reminded them about God's Law the Ten Commandments, and that they had admitted breaking several of them and it didn't matter what religion someone claimed unless they REPENT, turn away from sin and place their trust in what Jesus Christ did, alone, they would be eternally in Hell. He paid the fine for the crimes of us 2000 years ago. He took the punishment that I deserved, that they deserved, and if they continue to placed their faith in any man made religion, then, they would wind up in Hell for eternity.

The one young man I think his name was Danny, reached out to shake my hand to thank me as he had never heard it presented that way before. I asked if they would take some information I had, they all said yes, so I gave them the Gospel Tract, "Save Yourself Some Pain"

When I was finished with Danny the Pastor shook my hand. He had a big smile on his face and told me he was thrilled as he couldn't believe how many people he was able to share the Gospel with using the million dollar tract to get them talking about there salvation. He then asked when was I having another seminar? Praise be to the Lord for him wanting to learn more on how to share with the lost.

Why we get Sick?

Got this comment from a dear friend who shared her concern about my illness last week. She asked that I place it on my blog so that others could comment on why those who claim Christ as Lord get sick. Please feel free to leave any comments you have as.

She starts with a caring question.

How are you feeling? I hope your bronchitus is all cleared up by now. I will pray for God's healing touch on you. Remember that according to the Word of God, healing belongs to you, and your Heavenly Father does not want you sick for one minute.

However, I would like to point out that you have an enemy arrayed in full armor and weaponry against you. He is the one endeavoring to put sickness on you and make you sick, not God. In Acts 10:38 Peter is preaching and says, "How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and power, who went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed of the devil for God was with him."

According to Peter all of the sick people Jesus had healed during His earthly ministry had been oppressed of the devil. Jesus also confirms that in John 10:10 "The thief (devil) cometh only to steal, kill, and destroy. I am come that they might have life and have it more abundantly." There are several more Scripture references that back up what I am saying, Isaiah 53:1-7, Matthew 8:17, Mark 16:18, James 5:14 &15 but I will not belabor the point.

WOTM Seminar 2/27/10

Once again I held a seminar to try to encourage those who claim Christ as Lord to learn how to share with those who come across their paths every day. (Not just friends and family members but, "everyone!) I have been sick with Bronchitis all last week and was praying that I would be well enough to go out to the streets of Tempe after the seminar, but this wasn't God's will. The Lord has blessed me in many was but now He was letting my sickness be a blessing to someone else. He sent me a quiet man named Al Gordon.

He called me in January and stated that he wanted to help me with my seminars. Well this time he came along side of me and played a more active role in speaking to this class. I thought of, Isa. 6:8, when the Lord asked who shall I send? Send me was the response! Al has been an inspiration to me as well. There have been times that I didn't feel like going out on Saturday night, I could stay home with wife, but Al would call and ask if I wanted to him to pick me up...knowing this was like the Lord calling, how could I say no.

I say this not to build up AL or myself but that as followers of Christ we need to have people in our lives who will confront us, oops there goes that word again, the word that most people hate. But isn't that what 2Tim. 3:16 is all about. I believe and I think the Scripture confirms we need to be held accountable by those who claim Christ as Lord. Please let me know if I wrong.

So now here he was speaking to this small group, as only two people signed up for this one. One lady had been a few times before and the one man had seen some of the videos at a Bible study.

The lady told us what had just happened to her husband John, who was killed in January in a freak automobile accident. The tire of a truck that was in another accident came crashing through his windshield and killed him instantly. She was now totally convinced that death could come at anytime. (I think it's 160,000 people die every year) The comments from most of the churches she had been to for about 40 years, referring to making friends first, invite them to parties, or invite them to church before you share with them was NOT for her!

Al was able to present his understanding of why and how we should be using the Commandments, and he did this with clarity and confidence.

Just watch and listen

Around 4pm another lady showed up who had been to other seminars.
So this time we video taped each person so that they could examine what they looked and sounded like using this principle that Ray Comfort uses in reaching the lost. (Remember this is not Ray's principle, Jesus showed us in how in (Luke 18:18-27)

As I mentioned I wasn't feeling well enough to go to Tempe but Al stated he was going and who would like to come with him. No one could make it, but the lady who came at 4 told me she was encouraged by what Al had said and the fact that he actually does what he says. was encouraging to her. Her comment in an email she sent me on Sunday night, " that you don't see Christians who are so dedicated".

This small group was like minded. (Rom. 12:16) What a blessing to see all who were present Leigh, Ann, Jean, Al, my wife Catherine, all in agreement with every area of why and how to share with the lost. That it made so much sense to use the Law to help someone realize why they need a savior. Believing in what the Scripture says NOT what men have told us. Psalm 19:7, John 14:21, Gal. 3:24, are just some of the places that inform us of what to say. But instead of preaching to the lost we should be asking them the questions that they will be asked on their last day, "Are they good enough to get into Heaven?" They agreed that the Ten Commandments should be internalized and that if they just would continue to practice the Good Person test, that they too could share with anyone they meet.
